Torah Talk is on the Diaspora calendar, and this coming Saturday is the 2nd day of Shavuot on that calendar. So there’s no Torah Talk column this week.
In Israel they will already be reading Parashat Naso this Saturday, and I am expecting to follow the Israeli calendar for the abbreviated version of this column that I post on the Times of Israel website. Look there for it if you are on the Israel calendar (or just can’t wait!).
I’m tempted to replace “Buy Me a Coffee” this week “buy me some cheesecake” — but I won’t. DO remember to share Torah Talk with others if you appreciate it.
Meanwhile, my close reading of Genesis continues on schedule. We will be finishing Genesis 2 soon, but subscribers can always go back to start at the beginning and catch up when you can.
And it is never too late to learn Biblical Hebrew!
